Sadly, we are leaving our little island paradise and moving on to Seattle proper. And as a going away we had some friends visit from California and Katie baked some Blackberry Hand Pies.
The Friend
Finally! A visitor to our little island home!
Katie's friend Kyrielle came out for a little stay with us, while here, Katie wanted to bake with her. Their project: cinnamon rolls.
The Rhubarb
Katie's baking menu is all about seasonal ingredients. Farm fresh when possible too. So for her next treat she made some Rhubarb Strawberry Ice Cream and Oatmeal Cookies (and then we put some oatmeal cookies in the ice cream). Delicious!
