Most of the photography I've been doing for Katie's baking has been in natural light, with the occasional strobe helping out here are there. For her extra dark hot chocolate cake, I wanted to try doing a full studio lighting shoot, to really capture the intricate and difficult to photograph frosting. This was a fun shoot, the frosting had so much character and reacted to light in such odd ways. Orange one second, muted cocoas the next. Hope you like them!
